Head Coach:
This is Coach Christina’s 13th season as a varsity coach and 6th season with Southridge. Coach Christina grew up playing softball in the Portland-Metro area, even played for Varsity Assistant, Gary Hoops for a number of years, and finished her softball career playing for the Southern Oregon Raiders in Ashland, OR. Coach Christina wanted to give back to the communities that once played a part in her softball journey. Coach Christina started coaching at her alma mater, Lincoln HS and eventually ended up back on the field with Gary Hoops at Southridge HS. She came into the program knowing her biggest task was to rebuild the program, as the program took a big hit during the district rezoning project. Coach Christina has a strong passion to coach young women by providing them with a safe place and an opportunity to grow as athletes and young women. As she laid the foundation of the new program, built around strong values and goals, she was confident the softball family would grow. Coach Christina loves seeing the young athletes come through the program and watching them grow into dedicated and talented young adults. Coach Christina coaches her athletes while teaching them life lessons along the way. If you don't see Coach Christina on the softball field, you will likely find her busy at her day job as a Director of People Operation or traveling somewhere new.
