Traditional poster projects are fine but kick them up a notch by creating an Interactive Poster with a Makey Makey and allow your readers to interact with your content.
What is a Makey Makey?
A Makey Makey is a small computer board that you attach to your computer using an USB port. Alligator clips are attached to the up, down, left, right, space or click options on the Makey Makey. You basically now have an interactive controller for your computer. Using the Scratch 3.0 website, students will program the Makey Makey to do something when the "up" is touched or triggered -- for example - listen to an audio clip or watch an animation on the screen.
Scratch 3.0
Scratch was developed by the MIT Media Lab to introduce students to block programming, problem solving, and to think creatively. Students can use Scratch to code their own interactive stories, animations, and games or remix one from the community.
Scratch can be used by itself or in combination with extensions with a Makey Makey, MicroBit, Legos, and more!
