Welcome! As part of the IB CP core, you will complete a Reflective Project on an ethical issue which you would like to explore in your career-related studies. The Reflective Project is a wonderful opportunity to find something in which YOU personally are interested and explore that issue. You have MANY options for the completion of this project--a traditional essay and reflection or some sort of creative product (see guide) and a reflection. Use this guide, and your helpful PPS teacher, to help you create Reflective Project of which you can be proud. If you have any questions along the way, make sure you ask for help! Your CTE teachers are the experts in their fields, so they can help you identify ethical issues, and Ms. Mullen, Ms. Brownell and Mr. Grimm are here to help you as well.
The Reflective Project should be started in the Junior year and completed the Senior year. IB expects you to spend roughly 50 hours total on the project--this includes researching, meeting with your supervisor, and writing. Your RP will receive a grade of A to E, and you MUST get at least a D on the project to earn your CP certificate.

Examples of projects (this is a site from another school, but they have LOTS of great sample questions and example projects on their page! One day, we'll have one of our own--but we only have a few examples at this point!) Scroll down about half-way and you will see the projects and sample questions. Also, a great place to find examples is... YOUTUBE! Just type in IB CP Reflective Project and you will find a TON of good--and some no-so-good!--projects!
