Calling all valiant readers who seek a literary quest.

Battle of Books for the 2022-2023 school year.

Hello Findley Dragons…

I know many of you have questions about this year’s OBOB program. Here’s the initial plan.

Your team may be made up of fellow classmates from your grade level.

There are 15 books to read.

*** The book, Ten, has been taken off the OBOB list due to publishing issues***

Your team needs to be 4 or 5 players.

Eligible players are any Findley student in grades 3rd-5th, currently enrolled as in person learning.

Battles will begin late January or early February.

Teams will first battle other teams from their class, then teams from their grade level, and only the final elimination rounds will involve all three grade levels.

Team registration will be open on the Findley OBOB website from October Monday, 17th through Friday, November 18th.

This year the OBOB Association is planning on both Regional and State competitions. Dates to be determined at a later time.

So put together your team, think of a medieval themed name (we are the Findley dragons and OBOB Knights) and READ READ READ!!!

All 15 OBOB books are available in our library, through the Washington County Libraries, and on Sora.
