2026-2027 Launching WIN in Elementary

The intention of the WIN block is to provide explicit, targeted instruction directly matched to each student's specific skill needs. This time is used as both intervention and enrichment depending on the student's literacy needs. Teachers are responsible for planning and guiding WIN groups that paraeducators are leading.

The resources available to use during the WIN block are linked in the documents below. Students should have the opportunity to receive explicit instruction, time to practice skills in text, and opportunities to write.
