GRADE PROTECTION POLICY FOR ADVANCED COURSES
Students in Scholarship or Honors middle school courses may receive a quarter grade of “A”, “B”, or “C”. If a student earns a “D” or an “F” for the quarter, that student should be placed in a less difficult level, after a meeting occurs between the student, parent, teacher, and administrator/counselor. A decision to move the student’s placement should be a consensus among the team.
