Other options:
Watch a favorite DVD but change settings to the language option for audio and/or subtitles to improve listening/reading skills in the desired language.
Netflix (& other streaming services) has/have language options for audio and for subtitles. Look for age appropriate programs and movies and watch them in the desired language to improve listening/reading skills.
Practice speaking the language you have studied with someone who can help you hone that skill.
Practice writing the language you have studied. Summarize your day, your thoughts, a family outing, a vacation, etc. or write emails to someone who knows the language to improve your writing skills in that language. Create simple sentences, simple poems, or anything that will allow you to express yourself in the language you studied.
