Battle of the Books

We will be taking applications through early October and then and meet for the first time in October 15th. 

All meetings are after school in the IMC until 2: 55.  Check the "Meeting Schedule" tab for more info. Check the "Information and Book List" tab for the application or get one in the main office or from your ELA teacher!

Titles to be read by the first meeting include:  Firegirl by Tony Abbott, Al Capone Does My Shirts by Gennifer Choldenko, Ground Zero by Alan Gratz, and Justin Morgan Had a Horse by Marguerite Henry. 

Also, prizes will be awarded to any student who can correctly match all book titles for the year to their author!
