A recommendation letter may be requested by certain colleges such as a private university, a specific program (Education Opportunity Program @ CSU), or for scholarship applications.

BHS School Counselors will not be available to complete letters during Fall or Winter breaks.
Provide your recommender with a resume or brag sheet that includes your extracurricular activities, work experience, best work/projects, and awards. A recommender may have a specific form or brag sheet that they want you to complete. Please ask what information they need from you.
BHS School Counselors prefer this form. Please email your counselor and request your letter of recommendation with detailed information on when it is needed by and how to submit it. If your counselor is able to complete a letter for you they will provide the request form for you to complete and return in a reasonable timeframe.
