Purposeful Tech. Empowered Learners.
Beaumont USD envisions a future where technology empowers every student to think critically, create meaningfully, collaborate authentically, and access learning equitably. In every classroom, technology is used purposefully to support mastery of academic standards, remove learning barriers, and develop essential digital and AI literacy.
The Beaumont USD Digital Educator course will guide educators in designing technology-enhanced learning activities that support this vision. Participants will explore pedagogy that leverages digital tools to promote communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking—cornerstones of 21st-century college and career readiness.
This course consists of six modules. Each module includes three components: Discover, Discuss, and Demonstrate. Educators will engage with content, reflect on application, and implement instructional strategies in their own classrooms. A reflection will be submitted at the end of each module.
Each trimester, 30 teachers may enroll on a first come, first served basis. Upon completion and submission of work, participants will earn $700 for their time outside the workday. Look out for an email a few weeks before each trimester begins to sign up.
