Explore Engineering is a FREE event where your students can learn about careers in engineering, computer science and physics and what makes a University of Dayton degree unique. They’ll participate in hands-on activities in our labs, meet Dayton faculty and current students, and tour campus and facilities.
In addition, the Women in Science and Engineering program and the Multi-Ethnic Scientists and Engineers Program are hosting WISE/MSEP Connect — a special event where your students can grab lunch on campus or bring their own, then engage with students in the programs to hear how they’re making connections, finding community and getting involved in the School of Engineering and beyond. This session is open to any and all Explore Engineering participants and their families.
The fall Explore Engineering event is geared toward high school seniors and juniors. Sophomores and freshman are encouraged to attend Dayton's spring Explore Engineering event in February 2027.

Goldfish Swim School in Cleveland East is hiring high school students for part-time Swim Instructor positions.
Students can work consistent shifts starting at 4 PM, earn $14–17/hour, and have opportunities to advance into leadership roles such as front desk and supervisor positions.
There will be a hiring event held in Warrensville Heights on October 21 from 3-7pm. Please see the Swim Instructor/Lifeguard job flyer for additional information.

A week-long summer program intended for rising high school seniors. The program runs from 9am – 4pm each day during the second week of June, and is hosted at Key Tower downtown. Throughout the program, students receive exposure to a wide range of professionals within the finance and overall business industry. While the main focus is on investment banking careers, students will learn about a variety of financial careers. In addition, there is a series of professional development workshops, including a mock interview and resume session to help them prepare for college/internships.
