Beaufort County School District utilizes the single sign-on resource ClassLink as the launchpad for students and teachers to access many virtual resources. ClassLink is accessible from any device or computer with internet access.
It is recommended that teachers and students in grades 2-12 use Chrome on their district-issued laptop, while students in grades PK-1 should use the ClassLink app on their district-issued iPad.
Students and teachers may access ClassLink on a personal device through this site: launchpad.classlink.com/beaufort
In your device's web browser, go to this website: https://launchpad.classlink.com/beaufort.
Note: If you are using a BCSD-issued device, this website is typically set as the default homepage of your Google Chrome browser.
Click "Sign in with Microsoft"
Enter your account credentials. For students, the credentials typically follow this format:
Note: Students in Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st Grades can also utilize a "ClassLink QuickCard" qr code to sign into ClassLink, instead of typing in a username and password. The resources available on each student's ClassLink homepage will vary by school and grade level. Some of the most common resources available in ClassLink include:
Google Classroom is a free web service developed by Google for schools that aims to simplify creating, distributing, and grading assignments. The primary purpose of Google Classroom is to streamline the process of sharing files between teachers and students. BCSD utilizes Google Classroom as the primary learning management system for grades 2-12. Teachers create classes in Google Classroom, and students join via a code or link.
Seesaw is a platform for student engagement. Teachers can empower students to create, reflect, share, and collaborate. Students "show what they know" using photos, videos, drawings, text, PDFs, and links. It's simple to get student work in one place and share with families, and nothing is shared without teacher approval. BCSD utilizes Seesaw as the learning management system for students in grades PK-1.
