June 26th-28th in the WHS gym!
Attire: Please wear appropriate and comfortable athletic wear.
All days: No long fingernails, no jewelry, hair should be pulled back, cheer shoes or sneakers.

2023 - 2024 Tryout Information
Parents & Perspective Cheerleaders,
We are so excited to have tryouts for the 2023 - 2024 Pam Pack Cheerleading season! Before tryouts, there is some additional information we want you to know so that you can prepare for tryouts and cheerleading at Washington High School. Please review the tryout packet and pre-register for tryouts at the link below!
JV vs. Varsity Teams:
Cheerleading, like other sports at the high school level, is competitive. Each squad is formed based upon the competitive level of those that try out. A position on either squad is not guaranteed due to grade level, previous position on a squad or experience on other cheer squads.
In general, freshmen and sophomores are on the JV team and juniors and seniors are on the Varsity team. However, just as with other competitive sports, juniors may be placed on JV and freshmen and sophomores may be placed on Varsity. All placements are based on skill level and needs of the team.
Competition:

Check out the BCS Athletic Form and NCHSSA Physical Form below. All of these are required by the first day of tryouts!
