This $2,000 scholarship is available to students from schools with a UNCW College Adviser.
Eligibility Requirements
Must be a Washington High School student intending to enroll at UNCW either as a first-year or transfer student.
No application - this scholarship will be reflected on your financial aid package from UNCW.
April Deadline Scholarships
This $2500 scholarship is for students who have experienced the profound loss of a parent or primary legal guardian and are pursuing higher education at a college, university, or trade school.
Eligibility Requirements
Must be a current high school senior or enrolled in a college, university, or trade school with at least one full academic year remaining.
Must have at least one deceased parent or primary legal guardian, with proof of death required in the application.
Must be a resident of North Carolina or South Carolina. If already in college, a parent or legal guardian must still reside in one of these states.
Must submit a Student Reflection essay and one Letter of Recommendation.

This $1000 non-renewable scholarship was established for minor dependents of Active Duty, retired, or prior service members of all branches, reservists or National Guard members who are/will be pursuing a two or four-year degree at an accredited college/university.
Selection is based on academic achievement, character, commitment to others, and future goals.
Eligibility Requirements
Minor dependents of Active Duty, retired, or prior service members from all branches, reservists, or National Guard members.
Must be pursuing a two- or four-year degree at an accredited college/university.
Priority is given to:
Dependents whose parent/guardian:
Served for eight or more years.
Died while serving on or in an active duty status.
Classified as a wounded warrior through the Air Force Wounded Warrior program.

This $5000 scholarship is for minor dependents of active duty or retired Air Force, Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard, and Space Force enlisted Airmen and Guardians who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, or math).
Applicants must graduate from high school in 2025 and enter their first year at an accredited university.

Payment sent by check for any education-related expenses.
Requirements

Essay (max 600 words) on academic achievements, goals, and how the scholarship will assist in achieving those goals.

Proof of acceptance into an accredited college/university, indicating intended major in a STEM field, and including tuition and fee costs for the first term.
Recipients must submit a W-9 form to receive their award.

This $2500 scholarship is for children of U.S. Air Force Active Duty, veteran, retired service members, reservists, or National Guard members pursuing a college degree at a college or university.
Requirements:
Applicant must provide a Statement of Purpose describing how the scholarship will assist with educational goals.
Must provide the most current transcript or, if not yet enrolled, proof of acceptance into an accredited college or university.
Must submit one letter of recommendation from a teacher, professor, counselor, or work/volunteer supervisor.
Recipients must submit a W-9 form to receive their award.
Priority is given to:
Applicants whose parent/guardian is an AFA member.
Applicants majoring in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics) field.

This scholarship will award a total of $20,000, payable in four annual installments of $5,000. AFA will contact the recipient each summer to request proof of enrollment and an update letter.
Eligibility
Female high school seniors who excelled in mathematics.
Accepted into an accredited four-year college or university.
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
Dependent of a currently serving, retired, or deceased Air Force member.
Preference Given to Applicants Who:
Are first-generation college students.
Have demonstrated financial need based on the most recent FAFSA submission.
Requirements
Complete online application.
Submit transcript proof of continued enrollment in a STEM major for future payments.
Provide a letter updating the sponsor on how the scholarship has impacted their lives and STEM aspirations.
Recipients must submit a W-9 form to receive their award.

This $1000 scholarship is open o current and former Air and Space Forces personnel (Active Duty, Air National Guard, Reservists) and their families (spouses, children, and dependents). This award can be applied to undergraduate or graduate degrees at a college/university or to pilot training for a private pilot’s license.
Requirements
Essay: No more than 600 words describing how the scholarship will assist in achieving educational goals and how those goals support the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen.
Letter of Recommendation: From a teacher, supervisor, counselor, or organization director.
Unofficial Transcript: Required if the applicant is a current or recent high school, college, or university student. Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
Proof of Acceptance/Enrollment: Must be accepted or enrolled in an accredited college/university unless pursuing pilot training.
Proof of Military Service: A copy of the applicant’s, spouse’s, or parent’s/guardian’s DD214 or a front-and-back copy of a military ID card.
Recipients must provide AFA with a W-9 form to receive the award.

May Deadline Scholarships
The purpose of this $500 scholarship is to assist students who are furthering their education in agriculture or agribusiness.
Scholarship checks will be made payable to the college or school where the scholarship recipients will attend. Scholarships will be awarded at our Annual Meeting on Monday, May 19th, 2025 in Elizabeth City, NC.
Eligibility Requirements
Be a high school senior residing in Camden, Pasquotank, Gates, Chowan, Tyrrell, Pamlico, Carteret, Washington, Beaufort or Hyde counties
Plan to attend a North Carolina accredited college, community college, or technical institute.
Weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher
Recipients must provide an official transcript confirming their reported GPA and proof of enrollment. No transcript or proof of enrollment is required until after students are selected as winners.

The LM Scholarship Program provides a $500 scholarship to a deserving student who is:
1. Currently enrolled or expects to be enrolled in a degree program (2 years of length or greater) by September.
2. A student must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and submit an answer to the essay question prior to the submission deadline.
3. A student must be a United States resident or a Canadian resident and must also attend a school in Canada or the US.

Ellevation will be awarding ten $2,000 scholarships to deserving high school seniors who are current or former English learners (ELs). Applicants will be considered based on academic performance, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, and a statement of educational and career goals.
Funds may be used at the discretion of the recipients to absorb costs including:
The purchase of technology such as laptops, monitors, etc.
Costs of travel/moving for school such as flights, dorms supplies and furniture
The cost of school supplies including textbooks and other necessities
To reimburse out of pocket costs for tuition
Eligibility Requirements
Be a high school senior who has been enrolled as an English Language Learner (ELL) at some point during their K-12 education.
Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four- year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire 2025-2026 academic year.
Undocumented students are open to apply.
Scholarship payments will be sent directly to the recipients by the end of July 2025, prior to the start of the fall semester.

$2500 scholarships will be awarded based on eligibility requirements, academic merit, financial need, and interest of pursuing a career in residential HVAC or home performance contracting. Applicants will be asked to explain what inspired them to choose an HVAC technical education and their plans after graduation.

Students planning to enroll or currently enrolled* in an HVAC technical program** at an accredited institution for the entire 2024-2025 academic year
US Citizens, US Nationals, US Permanent Residents based on the guidelines utilized by the US Department of Education Federal Financial Aid eligibility
Minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
Student pursuing an Associate’s Degree, Certificate, or Diploma in an HVAC technical program.
Preference will be given to high school seniors and students age 18-26. The first 350 applicants will be considered. If interest dictates, the limit may be raised to accommodate for more applications.
* Current students must continue to be enrolled through January 1, 2026
** Applicants are required to upload documentation that the eligible HVAC program is offered at the school applied to/enrolled. Employees and children of employees of EGIA and the EGIA Foundation are ineligible to apply.
