CFNC allows you access to all the colleges and schools in North Carolina and their application processes. Students should already have a CFNC login. Be sure that your account information is up to date before submitting the application.
Common App allows you to explore over 1,000 colleges. When applying to some colleges, students will be directed to use Common App. Click here for a 'how to use' video.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opens on October 1st! This determines your family’s monetary ability to contribute to college expenses. Most colleges require students to complete this, whether they use loans/grants or not. Parent/guardian tax information is required to complete. You can save your work and come back to it as needed.
