Posting JCampus Lesson Plans
This video shows you how to post lesson plans in JCampus.
Lesson Plan Templates/Copying Lesson Plans
This video shows you how to create "Templates" and copy lessons to future dates.
Use the JCampus "Training" database if you wish to try things out without it affecting your live data.
The "Training" database works using information from the previous day's data. Changes in "Training" are not saved to the "Live" database.
So, feel free to click on whatever you want with no concerns about how it will alter reported data.
NOTE: If you determine that you would like to make the "Training" changes in the "Live" database, you will need to complete the task in the "Live" databse.
Error: Information entered does not match.
Reason: The app is looking at the parent's demographic information. If the "relationship, first name, last name, and cell phone" do not match exactly, it will give the error.
Response 1: Direct the parent to ONLY input "relationship, first name, last name, and cell phone". Any other information will cause an error if it doesn't EXACTLY match what is in JCampus.
Response 2: Have the parent tell you what they are entering. Direct the parent to which specific information is incorrect. You CANNOT tell the the correct information, but you can say, "That is not how your name is spelled in our system." Correct information once you verify the identity of parent.
Response 3: Make sure they are using the phone number listed in the "Cell Phone" field for their respective relationship to the student. Sometime the number gets placed in the "Home Phone" instead of the "Cell Phone" field.
ERROR: An account already exists with those credentials
Reason: The app is viewing usernames for Student Progress Center. The parent or another user may have already used that username.
Response: Direct the parent to use a different username to setup the account.
If you are unable to resolve the issue, THE SCHOOL can contact Melissa Thibodeaux to further troubleshoot the issue. Please do not direct parents to Melissa as she is limited in her ability to confirm parent identities.
