Earlier this month, our TIA Drumline, Majorettes, Guard, and Jazz groups competed at the TIA East Coast Competition and represented BEA with pride.

The Bald Eagle Area Music Department has been named a 2026 Best Community for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation — marking the 10th year our district has received this honor!

This recognition reflects the dedication of our music educators, the talents of our student musicians, and the continued support of our families, staff, and community. We are proud to celebrate this incredible milestone and the strong tradition of music education at BEA.

On February 20th at 7:00 pm, the PMEA Region Chorus Festival was held at Forest Hills High School.

We are so proud of Sage Fisher, Sophia Alexander, and Bryce Saville (pictured left to right) for representing Bald Eagle Area School District with excellence and dedication. These students joined talented singers from across the region for an outstanding concert experience.

The festival chorus was led by guest conductor Dr. Elizabeth Lins Aragunde of Shippensburg University.

Bravo to our singers for their hard work and musical achievement! 🎵💙

Happy New Year! A big congratulations to Nick Linville, Vanessa Kukharev, Kahlan Maney, Sabian Mertz, Parker Schall, Bryce Saville, Sage Fisher, Etta Davison, Sophia Alexander, Laurie Thompson, Jocelyn Holt and Isaac Bulles for a phenomenal District Chorus concert this past week!

 Last Friday, Performing Arts students  spent the day exploring the sights, sounds, and energy of New York City. They toured iconic locations, took in the atmosphere of the city, and enjoyed an unforgettable experience together.

That evening, the group attended the hit Broadway musical Six, enjoying a powerful performance and a night of incredible theatre.

This meeting will give you the opportunity to:

2. Learn about this year's concerts, events, trips, etc.

3. Learn about this year's fundraising opportunities

4. Learn about the boosters and opportunities available

Each year, we are invited to pop popcorn on Thursdays before Penn State home football games. The start time is typically between 7:30-8:00 AM, and popping takes anywhere between 4-6 hours.  Each day you pop, you will earn $100 that goes directly into your child's Performing Arts account!  The available dates this year are the following:

This is a new one for us! Sections will complete against each other for points -- positive for pennies & bills; negative for silver. 

Everyone helps raise money, and the winning section gets bragging rights!

Hello BEA Performing Arts parents, guardians and supporters!

The Boosters is excited to kick off another amazing year for our Performing Arts programs with Marching Band Camp, which begins the week of July 28th! Band Camp is quickly followed by the Marching Season, the Fall Play, Band and Chorus concerts, Indoor Competitions, and the Spring Musical.

To ensure our students have the tools they need to shine on stage (and on the field, and in the gym!), we’ve created an Amazon Wish List filled with items that will directly support student performances, rehearsals, and behind-the-scenes work. These are materials that help the ensembles & groups we support to run smoothly—from props and costumes to classroom supplies and tech equipment. And snacks!

Our fundraising this year not only covers normal operating costs, but will also be applied to our Fall 2026 trip to Disney World (information about who is eligible will be forthcoming from your teachers!). We are hoping to be able to defer as much as possible from individual student costs for transportation and meals. In order to make this happen, we are asking you to visit our Amazon Wish List and choose an item (or a few!) to purchase. (Prime Days are July 8-11!) Your donation will be shipped directly to us and put to good use by our dedicated students and staff. 

Whether you’re a proud parent, alum, or community supporter, your generosity makes a difference and keeps the arts alive and thriving in our school. Thank you for your continued support of the Performing Arts at Bald Eagle Area. Let’s make this season unforgettable!
