About Me

Hello! My name is Josh Janssen, and I am a senior in the Jackson Acadamy of Global Studies. JAGS has been one of the most valuable experiences of my life. I am excited to share my experiences and projects with you throughout this website. Outside of JAGS I also have several passions that I like to spend my free time doing. One of my favorite hobbies is building and flying RC planes. This is my way of relaxing and being creative. I love coming up with unusual ideas. For example, right now I am trying to make a foldable lawn chair fly while still being usable on the ground. Another one of my passions is running. I joined cross country my junior year and it is one of the most meaningful parts of my life. I love to compete and stive to get better. I am also very passionate about travel. I have been fortunate enough to visit many places. Each experience has helped to broaden my understanding of language culture and perspective. Travel has made me more open minded and helped me grow into a better global citizen.
