As an eighth grader, I had a plan for what high school was going to be for me. I knew I was a mixture of both programs and I wasn't going to let anyone hold me back from pursuing what I knew I could do. I soon found that things don't always go as planned. When COVID hit, I was officially isolated from everyone. JSA brought me back out of my shell and into a world of arts and creativity while JAGS enriched me with knowledge of worldly situations and global problems that I could find solutions for. JSA and JAGS introduced me to new opportunities and diverse people that helped me receive an outstanding and different education compared to the average high school student.
