My JAGS Resolution

My JAGS Resolution is to reduce my personal electricity consumption by 10% in my household. Currently there is a serious energy crisis, and as we continue to burn fossil fuels, the Earth’s condition increasingly deteriorates. I feel that it is of utmost importance to take action and reduce unnecessary consumption when possible. For my personal goal, I plan to look at baseline energy bills for my family, then after identifying my personal usage, look at the parameters for a successful 10% drop. This Sustainable Development Goal is related to goal #13, Climate Action. By reducing my power consumption, that keeps power plants from using more dangerous fuels, and thus reducing the pumping of dangerous chemicals into our atmosphere. Although my contribution might not have global ripples, I want to first start by making sure I can efficiently reduce my consumption, before moving on to my family, friends, and neighbors!
