Year Three
Temple Manor Class
We made it to the end of Module 2! The children have all worked extremely hard during this module and have been very focused on their learning. We have put a lot of effort into learning our times tables concentrating on 3s, 4s and 8s. We also came 2nd in the academy TT Rockstars competition. We have written a diary entry based on Tom's adventures (The Boy Who Biked The World), as well as the story of Perseus and Medusa and a fact file. Our Science work has been looking at healthy diets and the nutrition we get from each food group. We were very proud of the children's performance during our seasonal production and it was lovely to have the opportunity to share our learning about celebrations around the world. Wishing you all a relaxing, well-deserved break!

Home Learning
We have really enjoyed sharing all the amazing home learning from this module and this has supported our understanding of different cultures and traditions around the world. We have had a great range of tasks from packed suitcases to detailed slideshows. Thanks to all the families supporting their children with their learning at home - it makes such a difference!
DT - Investigating biscuits
We have spent time at the end of the module on our DT learning. We looked at a range of biscuits and evaluated them, including their taste. We loved making our own biscuits and decorating them. We even discovered which biscuit is best for dunking!
TT Rockstars - please continue the excellent work you have been doing so far on practising times tables - it is making a real difference to our Maths learning.
