Important: I will be sending home a decodable reader for every new story we start (On Day 1). This short story perfectly aligns to our skills being taught in ELA class. Please read this every night with your student and sign the back of the book when you're done. You can return the signed booklet back to me on Day 6 (the day of our Vocabulary and Comprehension tests). Students will earn a ticket if they return this back to me, which in turn, can get pulled later in the week for a prize! I appreciate your dedication to helping your 1st grader become a more fluent + confident reader.  :-)
