My Learning Journey

There are many memorable experiences at Beacon Hill School. Below are the ones I enjoyed the most in the past few years at school.

Year 4: We had a fashion show at school presenting my handmade bag at the drama room. It was very fun and it became my new obsession. It was very important to me because it was my first time ever sewing.

Year 5: I had a great day today selling the products we made in the Big Business Day at the school assembly hall. Our store was called Asteroid 21 as it sold galactic calligraphy notebooks, origami star bookmarks and offered a game called constellation maze. It is important to me as it helps me understand the concept of running a business. It involves what products to sell, how to advertise the product, how to set a reasonable price, and how to calculate the profit. The most important lesson we have learned is teamwork.

Year 6: We went to camping with Outward Bound. On the day we camped in the forest, I was chosen, together with 2 other classmates, to help the counselor made dinner for our group. We prepared porridge with chicken, corn and lettuce. It was good because it was surprisingly very flavorful and my group all had seconds.
