Letter to myself (13/4/2021)

Hello Amelie, How are you! I've come to say how great you are, I love how when you learn something new you always make sure it's completely true. You're like a detective, catching a case. Like when an argument gets in hand and you track down who started it. But, even thought it's great, you should lay off it for a while.

I think you're funny! In a good way, and I like how to try to help people as much as you can, even if it takes away your personal time. You always find ways to cheer the mood in a gloomy and sad place. And I like that!

I think you're inclusive, you always try to get everyone into the conversation. And I find that a amazing personality trait. It's good to make sure nobody gets left out in a group conversation, especially if it's for a project. A group project is a group project, and nobody should have to do all the work.

I think you're a great person, even if others don't think so.

From, Amelie

Well-being Writing (20/4/2021)

Piano

Orange light filled the room, curtains closed hiding the room from the bright light outside. Papers were scattered across the wooden desk, a pile of more paper and folders sat in the corner without any sort or order. A floor mattress was pulled out the covers being a bright red.

Music started to fill the room, embracing the area in a calm feeling. Piano keys went up and down making pleasant sounds as they were pushed. Nothing else but the piano could be heard. The shadows were soft, and the light felt duller.

After a while, the song came to an end, like all good things. The room's warmth had faded, and had been replaced by a cold, dark, loneliness.
The musician sighed, turning off the piano and tucking the black chair in. Stepping over the red mattress, they headed to the desk.

Opening up a computer and entering in a code. A bunch of greetings came out of the device before returning back to their unknown discussion. The curtains waved, creating gaps that let the bright light peek in, then sewing them back up again as the wind slowed.
Picking up a book, they began to read, there was nothing to add to the conversation, so they stayed quiet.

Hours had passed, and only one voice was left coming from the computer. Putting down their book, they responded.

The lamp in the corner gave a orange warm glow to the room, providing the only source of light inside the room.
