MY WELLBEING SPACE

HI! My name is Gabby and today I will be guiding you around BHS (also known as the wellbeing school). If you are as old as a wrinkled plum or as young as a newborn pup, wellbeing is still very important for all of you. You might wonder why it's named the wellbeing school and let me tell you why, one of the reasons is because this school makes the 5 ways of wellbeing their number 1 priority. Why is wellbeing important, you ask? Well you can find out why later on.

This floor is the ground floor. In here we have a ski-rink, so a ski-rink can benefit our wellbeing a lot such as be acting because you exercise while ice skating, connect because you can talk with your friends or even make new ones, give because you can teach other people ice skating if you’re really good at it,and keep learning because you can learn how to skate. Quite close to the skating rink is a newly installed kitchen where our Beacon Hillers learn how to bake or cook. So how will a kitchen help our wellbeing? Well you could connect with your friends, keep learning new recipes and maybe even give by teaching other students how to bake. Finally the badminton/basketball/soccer/tennis court. In this special court you can be active, connect, keep learning and maybe even give.

Now here’s the 1st floor where the obstacle course and the VR room is. Here in the obstacle room there are some ladders as stiff as a statue, a trampoline so bouncy you could almost touch the sky, a massie beam for balancing, a black net, a long path of monkey bar rings and a long rope attached to the ceiling. This obstacle course helps students and teachers be active by using a lot of energy while doing this, and connect because you can still counteract with your friends while doing the obstacle course. On to the next room, there is a VR room for children (and teachers obviously). The VR room helps people inside communicate with new people or friends and take notice of the VR realm.

On to the second floor. Look to your right, what do you see? Yes it is a classroom, but it's not just an ordinary classroom. At this school each classroom is made out of perfection for our students. Inside our classrooms is a speaker for music so that children will be calmer. Another addition to our classrooms are cubicles just like the ones in an office. We believe that children will be less distracted at class when separated. As for our other class they are very very very similar to this one.

The 6th floor is where things get a little well...umm...messy. So out here is a corridor, to be specific it's an art corridor (also known as the splash zone).where children get to express themselves with art and also where a lot of Beacon Hillers come here to interact with everyone. A room close to the splash zone is a gigantic indoor cycling trail and this helps the wellbeing of us a lot such as be active cause you’re are exercising while cycling, give because you can teach students that don’t already ow how to cycle, you could connect because you can spend time with your friends here and keep learning because with the volunteering teachers you are gonna learn how to cycle in no time.

At last the 7th floor which is in my opinion my favourite part of the school. Instead of a boring old roof we have a glass one instead so that our students can take notice of the stars and learn more about astronomy. And for the last room we have…DRUM ROLLS PLEASE...THE JOB ROOM! I know, I know it sounds boring but it’s not my fault it's the principal's idea so blame it on the principle . anyways I do think that umm..I do.. all i'm trying to say is the name is horrible, am I right?ok, onto the job room. Wow this place is amazing, look at the white glistening walls and the mini job stations and look over there so much children. This place is just like dream come true (which is a place where children get to do their dream jobs) but in a school. Well now it's the end of the school tour and I wish you all a very good day BYE and thank you for reading this.
