I’m writing this letter of recommendation not because they ask me, but because I want to and because the of the QUALITY of their work, the time they put in, quotes, issues found that needed attention, and over ALL happiness of our experience, they are easy to work with, my wife and I had to do a major home revamp. (YEAR HOME BUILT 1930) and HAPPINESS IS SPELLED BEACH CONSTRUCTION!
We had some major ice and rain damage this past winter on our back porch, side porch, kitchen roof, and ice building up on the upper roof of our home. Just moving back to Upstate N.Y. after being gone for over 25 years, I wanted to a contractor first and above all that I could work with, trust and respected my needs, someone I could count on to get the job done right. Like most everyone today I tried to find that contractor thru Angie's List, checked with, Burk's Lumber, Lowe's, Rabys, and people I knew in the area who had work done for them.The Quote: This alone was an experience, I came up with approx. 10 or more contractors. Some had recommendations from all of the above. This being said, I ended up calling these contractors 4 gave me a date and a time that they would come and give me a quote but NEVER SHOWED. The other six who did show sent time and talked with me about their quote even before they gave it to me. One company gave me a quote that at the end stated rough estimate!!! Beware, YOUcould end up owning thousands of dollars when finished. Two NEVER called back or sent me a quote, one was twice the amount of everyone else and when I asked him why he answered, “Oh you are one of those who want to use me to get a better deal” then after three and a half weeks stopped by and asked “When do you want us to start” With Beach Construction Richard not only came when he said he would, came back two other times with one of his crew to assure me that he wanted to make sure not only was his quote was correct but to re assure me that what he was quoting was 100% accurate. Ease of working with: Even before I was able to give him the Job Richard and I went to some suppliers to find just what I wanted to have put into my home update. At each and every part of the project Richard would tell me and my wife what he found and how it was going to be taken care of it. YOU CAN’T PUT A PRICE TAG ON THAT!!! Trust and Respected meet my needs, who I could count on to get the job done the firsttime: Trust, I’ve been burnt before I could give him a contract, With BEACH Construction I felt Richard always kept me up to speed, always respectful to me and my wife and made sure our construction was not a problem for our neighbors ( ISSUE AND NEVER A SWEAR WORD, IF ONE NEEDED A SMOKE, THEY’D WALK FAR ENOUGH AWAY THAT IT NEVER EVER BECAME AN ISSUE!! I don’t mean to be a babysitter but it’s in my nature, After the second day I felt that not only were they meeting our exceptions but surpassed them, on the job EVERYDAY at 8:00 AM and not leaving until 5:00 to sometimes past 7:00 PM.
This is why I’m writing this letter of recommendation, THEY ARE THE BEST I’VE EVER HIRED AND I KNOW IF I EVER HAVE TO USE A CONTRACTOR AGAIN, IT WOULD BE BEACH CONSTRUCTION!!!
