Unit Overview

This unit contains mini lessons from 15 to 50 minutes in length. The lessons could be used to embed digital citizenship , to introduce a topic, or to delve deeper into online interactions. Some lessons are skill based, where others are inquiry focused. For a more comprehensive experience, a few suggested sequences are offered under the three tabs on this site.

Overarching Questions

Am I aware of the motivation behind and accuracy of the information I am viewing?

Do I know how to prevent information overload?

Am I aware of my online biases?

Do I distinguish between opinion and vetted information? Am I balancing between social media feeds and reliable sources?

Am I aware of who is in my online bubble?
