Beaver Dam Unified School District Student Services Staff  (School Social Worker, School Counselor, School Nurse, and School Psychologist) are available to meet and help you with these resources. Emotional/Mental Health & Support 

If you or a loved one are in need of emotional support or counseling services or if there is a concern about self-harm or suicidal ideation

Imminent Safety Concerns with self-harm or suicidal ideation: call 9-1-1 or take an individual to the Emergency Room.



Food

Pantry hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:30-3:30pm

Families may visit the pantry once per month. Walk up, no-contact only at this time.  Must show ID through the door.

Mobile Food Pantry is held the second Saturday morning of every month from 8:00-9:30am  

Day & Hours: 2nd Tuesday of the month.  Distribution 3:30-6:00pm.  Currently drive through no-contact pick-up.  $20 donation required.



Personal Essentials Pantry



Help with Rent, Utilities, Emergency situations, Car repairs

Renewal Unlimited applications available for rent, utility, property tax, security deposit, and mortgage assistance.  Rural Housing and Section 8    applications available.

Homeless

Shelter assistance available for families, single women or single men.

Note:  An intake appointment is needed. The hours for intake are Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm




Medical Help for Families

Low cost primary health care available for those with incomes below 200% FPL ($5,000/month for family of 4), Medicaid/Forward HMO, and no private insurance. Call Church Health Services for an intake packet and appointment.  *Dental help available and mental health services for adults and children as well.

Lake Country Caring is a nonprofit organization that provides new and gently-used clothing, household items, hygiene items, appliances and furniture to people in need, including Dodge County residents, at no cost.

2-1-1 connects the caller to a specialist who can assess the caller’s needs and link the caller to the right solution using a comprehensive database of services – federal, state, and local; government and nonprofit.
