Dionyssios Maroulis is the founder of Maroulis Construction Corp., BDM Solutions and BDM group. Mr. Îśaroulis is an architect-engineer by trade, born and raised in Greece, he came to US in his late teens. Study in NYC @ NYIT and graduated with Cum Laude Honors. He is been involded in construction and design for over 20 years and has has completed over 100 million dollars in construction work.Â
Mr. Maroulis received his degree from New York Institute of Technology as an Architect-engineer. He started working as an architect in NYC designing projects for various city and state agencies; the School Construction Authority which he designed schools and school libraries, the Office General of State which he designed parole office spaces, the Metropolitan Transit Authority which he designed circulation systems for the transit system and problem solving for various subway stations. He also designed private commercial projects and private residential projects. In addition, he reviewed vast number of drawings as a consultant for the NYC department of buildings.Â
During his studies in NYC, he took a job in a construction company where his journey as an architect begun. Mr. Maroulis needed to understand how materials and structures come together on the actual field. He requested to be place with the carpenters, to learn carpentry there he learns how major structural members come together, how they connect, and how their strength of materials work. After he felt comfortable with carpentry, he asked to be moved to the plumbing sector which there he learned how a building been supplied with water, heating, and discards of waste. He went through every sector in construction to gain vast experience. Finally, after he was confident enough, he asked to be the field supervisor for the company which he will go on managing projects until he finished with his architectural studies. Â
His involvement with direct construction came in the early 2010 when Mr. Maroulis founded BDM Solutions LLC as a construction management company with his first project a 22-story mix use ground up building in Queens NY with a final cost at 29 million dollars. After, that it was an avalanche of continuous work, project after project, the construction management company developed to a general construction company, Maroulis Construction Corp. The construction company reach a high 95 field trade personnel in house doing from steel work to carpentry to finish work. With a climax of a hybrid building of 90 residential units, luxury apartments, and commercial spaces. The specify project was an extreme complexity of work, converting an existing 5 story, 100-year-old school to residential building and adding 4 more stories on top of it with a side addition going from the ground up to 125 feet in the air with weaving it to the existing building and a cost of 30 million dollars.
Dionyssios had been involved building every type of building classification, restaurants, renovation of low- and high-end apartments, ground up new construction buildings and event spaces. His work reaches over 100 million dollars in completed projects in the Tristate area.  Â
Dionyssios from early in his life understood the amount of involvement needed to succeed. He understood you need to put in double or triple the amount of work to succeed in anything. He carries that philosophy in everything in his life, a lot of work, focus, and patience.Â
