2026-27 ADMISSIONS APPLICATION
BCTHS acceptances are valid for the district of residence at the time of admission only. Moving to another school district at any time after admission may invalidate the acceptance.
Applications must be delivered to the BCTHS main lobby between Monday, December 1 - Friday, December 5 from 7:00am-3:00pm to be included in the lottery. Applications received after this deadline will be placed at the end of the lottery in the order they are received.

Admission to our technical high school for **incoming 9th grade students** is based on a combination of academic performance, attendance, and discipline history from 7th and 8th grades.
7th Grade Performance: 80% of the admissions decision
8th Grade Performance: 20% of the admissions decision
A passing grade is 65.
Lose 1 point for each final grade of 64 or below in core subjects.
7th Grade: Lose points for 5 or more excused or unexcused absences.
8th Grade: Lose points for 2 or more excused or unexcused absences.
7th Grade: Lose points starting with the second disciplinary incident.
8th Grade: Lose points starting with the first disciplinary incident.
