Rest and Recovery:
Rest and recovery are crucial for lacrosse players to prevent injuries and optimize performance. Adequate rest allows muscles to repair and strengthen, reducing the risk of overuse injuries common in the sport. Additionally, proper recovery periods help players maintain mental sharpness and motivation, ensuring they can consistently perform at their best during practices and games.
Nutrition and Hydration:
Nutrition and hydration play a vital role in the performance and overall health of lacrosse players. A balanced diet rich in carbohydrates, proteins, and healthy fats provides the energy necessary for endurance and quick recovery during intense training sessions and games. Proper hydration supports optimal muscle function, mental acuity, and helps prevent cramping and fatigue, ensuring players can sustain peak performance throughout the season.

2) Violating the WBHS Drug and Alcohol Policy will result in dismissal from the team. Players caught smoking on, or off campus, will be dismissed from the team.
3) If you miss practice or cannot complete a practice the day before a game, you will not be on the starting lineup for the next game.
4) Negative/disrespectful talk or social media posts to, or about, coaches, teammates, opponents, officials or administrators in or out of the lacrosse environment will result in loss of playing time, suspension, and/or, removal from the team.
5) Practice will start on time! Players not prepared to start working at the scheduled practice time could see a dramatic drop in playing time.
Respect the game, your coaches, your teammates, the officials, and your opponents at ALL times.
