The primary role of your Career Development Coordinator (CDC) is to support Career and Technical Education (CTE) and to coordinate career development services for students.Â
Your CDC works collaboratively with students, administrators, school counselors, teachers, parents, business/industry, postsecondary institutions, military, community organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of career development services for students.
Whether in one-on-one counseling with a student needing help with creating a resume and sharpening interview skills, or putting together a work based learning experience such as field trips, job shadowing, or an internship, your CDC works both publically and behind the scenes to help students plan for a bright future after high school.
