Welcome!  My name is Cortni Lemon and I am the school library media specialist  at Town Creek Middle School.  I have a B.A in Elementary Education and a M. Ed. in Language and Literacy from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.  After teaching 6th grade for nine years, I attended East Carolina University and obtained a Masters degree in Library Science.  I grew up in Brunswick County and attended elementary, middle and high school here.  This year will be my sixteenth year in education.  I am very passionate about reading and the field of education and look forward to the years to come.
