A little bit about me! My name is Ms. Becky Wyland, and this is my 22nd year teaching in North Carolina and my first year as a Gator at TCES! I have my Masters and National Board License in Elementary Education and most recently was awarded as a NC state finalists for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching. I recently moved to the area to fulfill my dream of living at the beach.  I am about to celebrate my 45th birthday on Aug. 31st with my two triplet brothers. Yes, I am a triplet! I am a very proud aunt to the sweetest nieces and nephews and try to go home (I am originally from Ohio.) and New Orleans where the rest of my family lives as often as possible. Science is my absolute favorite subject and after this year, it might be yours too! In my free time I love to read, workout, shop, go kayaking, and hang out at the pool or beach! I am incredibly passionate about teaching and I cannot wait to be your partner in education!
