JV Women's Soccer Spring 2025!
Welcome to my page and welcome to a world of Spanish!
I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. When I was 16, I had the amazing opportunity to further my studies in a foreign country so I moved to Michigan, finished HS and completed my Bachelor's Degree in K-12 Spanish Education at Eastern Michigan University.
When I was in High School, I was an ESL student, I had to learn English from 0!!! it was then when I decided I wanted to teach my native language applying the techniques I utilized to learn a second language myself.
My pedagogy of teaching leans towards new and varying methods of instruction built upon learners' interests, real-world events, language cultural principals, and based on what each of my students bring into the classroom.
I believe that student to student and student to teacher authentic relationships are the key foundation to successful learning.
I endeavor to be a positive role model and mentor in a way that helps students achieve not only academic success but acquiring the knowledge that they need in the future workplace; competency in socio-emotional, higher-level thinking, and technological skills.
