I am new to NC and to the Brunswick County Schools this year. I am so excited to join the Southport Dophins and continue my career in education. This will be my first year teaching 3rd grade, but my 15th year teaching. I am originally from central IL in a little town called Maroa. I also married and raised our family there. I have been married to Jeff for 29 years and we have 2 daughters. Maggie our oldest is 25 and lives in Bloomington IL, and our youngest is Liv who is 23 and lives in Chicago IL. Becoming empty nesters, and Jeff's early retirement gave us the freedom to start a new adventure in NC. I look forward to getting to know everyone in the community.
