About Me
I moved to North Carolina from Massachusetts in 2004.
I have 2 daughters (Addisyn, 9 and Ainsley, 4) a wonderful fiancé, Joe, and 1 dog (Poppy). In my free time I enjoy
reading, watching TV, and simply spending time with my family. I have known that I wanted to teach since I was
in middle school. I spent 10 years working in a childcare setting before coming to public school. I began at TCES
as a teacher’s assistant, earned rookie of the year my first year teaching, and this is now my fourth year teaching!

Classroom Philosophy
I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing classroom community where every child and family feels welcomed, encouraged, and valued. I aim to provide each child with learning opportunities to support them be successful lifelong learners. I strive to meet the needs of each child by viewing the whole child in all domains of development. In doing so, I can support and build on the unique needs of each student.
