Welcome to Always Art
About our program:
In Studio 202 and Studio 204, we incorporate the Teaching for Artistic Behavior or TAB philosophy. TAB states that the student is the artist and the art room is their studio. You will rotate weekly between the 2D and 3D/Textile art studios.
We believe you should be involved in the entire artistic process including designing, creating, and reflecting on your work. It is our job as art teachers to present ideas and concepts, demonstrate techniques and materials, and encourage and support you to create and produce works of art at your highest level.
How it works:
· We guide and you decide.
· We want you to be in charge of your art education.
· We want you making decisions.
· We want you to choose subject of your art.
· We want you to choose the medium.
· We want you to take risks.
· We want you to experiment with materials.
· We want you to explore ideas.
It is your job, as a student enrolled in Visual Art, to grow yourself as an artist, to have fun and to Make the Art!
Grading:
You will receive a weekly grade based on engagement, completed forms, and a digital art post.
Formative: 30% - art plan and daily engagement.

Make-up work:
Unexcused absences: cannot make up missed daily engagement but could make up form, art plan, and art post depending on days in a week missed.
