Welcome to Public Safety at The COAST
I’m Greg Jordan, your instructor for Public Safety I and II. I’m a retired law enforcement officer with over 30 years of experience, and now I get to introduce students to the world of public safety.
Whether you're curious about law enforcement, fire and EMS, emergency management, telecommunications, security, corrections, or even the legal system – we’ll cover a bit of everything. The goal is to make this class not just educational, but also fun and engaging.
You’ll get a solid intro to each area, some hands-on experiences, and a better idea of what these careers are really like. No matter if you plan to keep studying, go into the military, or jump into the workforce, my hope is that this class inspires you to consider one of the many rewarding careers in public safety.
