Important Dates for the Theatre Department

FALL SEMESTER

• Fall Play (Our Town) Auditions: Thursday, September3rd, 3pm-7pm (Theatre Room)

• Fall Play (Our Town) Callbacks: Friday, September 4th, 3pm-5pm (Theatre Room)

• Fall Play (Our Town) Performances: Thursday October 22nd at 7pm, Friday October 23rd at 7pm, Saturday October 24th at 2pm & 7pm at NBHS Room 133

• Spring Musical Reveal Party & Interest Meeting: Wednesday October 28th, 3pm-4pm (Theatre Room)

• NCTC High School Play Festival: Friday November 6th-Saturday November 7th (North Moore High School)

  • This event is a required field trip for Theatre 2 & 3 students

  • The goal this year is for this to be an overnight field trip

• Spring Musical Auditions: Monday, November 9th & Tuesday, November 10th; 3pm-6pm (Theatre Room)

• Spring Musical Callbacks: Friday, November 13th, 3pm-6pm (Theatre Room)

• Minnie Evans One Act Play Festival: Saturday, November 14th at 8am (Minnie Evans)

• NCTC State High School Play Festival: Thursday, November 19th-Friday, November 20th(Greensboro College)

• Proficient/Advanced Auditions & Portfolio Review: Sunday, December 6th (online submission)

• Theatre 1 Showcase: Tuesday, December 8th at 7pm (Theatre Room)

  • This event is required for all students enrolled in Theatre 1

SPRING SEMESTER

• Curtain Call Honors Ceremony: Sunday, January 10th (Wilson Center)

• NBHS Talent Show: Wednesday, January 27th (Theatre Room)

• BCS Spotlight on Talent: Thursday, February 11th, 6pm (OWA)

• BCS One Act Play Festival: Tuesday, March 23rd, 6pm (OWA)

  • This event is a required field trip for Theatre 2 & 3 students

• Spring Musical Performances: April 22nd-24th, 7pm (Leland Cultural Arts Center)

• International Thespian Society Inductions: Tuesday, April 27th at 7pm (Theatre Room)

• Proficient/Advanced Auditions & Portfolio Review: Sunday, May 16th (online submission)

• Theatre 1 Showcase: Monday, May 19th at 7pm (Theatre Room)
