I was born in Florida but have lived and worked in many places around the world, so I like to call them all home. Most recently I call Oak Island my home.
Before becoming a teacher I spent 25 years working in the biotech industry, specializing in immunology, endocrinology, and FDA medical device regulations and approvals.
I have been teaching biology for 8 years and sharing my love for life's processes and the natural world.
I am also a professional working artist, avid bird watcher and gardener.
