I earned my Bachler of Arts in Special Education from Saginaw Valley State University in Saginaw Michigan, and my Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Nebraska. I've been an educator for 17 years, with two years as a special education coordinator. I love living near the ocean, and enjoy oil and acrylic painting. This is my second year teaching at SMS.

I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environent that nurtures both the academic and social-emotional growth of every student. My goal is to support each student, and their families with open, honest communication.
