Hi there! My name is Nicolette Mills and I’m a passionate educator who graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. I graduated in 2024 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. I am originally from Long Island, New York and am now located here! I love inspiring young minds to explore and learn.

Outside of school, I love spending time surfing, painting, and reading. I have always had a strong love for art and creativity, and I hope to bring that passion into my classroom as much as possible. I believe that every day is a new day and a new opportunity to learn, grow, and try again. Building confidence in students is very important to me, and I want every student to feel supported and encouraged to be themselves. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and loving learning environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, expressing themselves, and discovering their own strengths. I believe that when students feel valued, supported, and confident, they are able to truly thrive.
