Welcome to Leland Middle School! I will be your Social Studies teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. I started with LMS in 2023 as Team Maryland's 6th grade social studies teacher. I was the LMS Rookie Teacher of the year for the 2024-25 school year. I love teaching others about the world and different cultures. I have years of experience in historical research and museum work, as well as in the classroom through social studies/history instruction. I enjoy finding fun and creative ways to teach students about social studies that align with NC Standards.

In my free time, I love spending time with my friends, family, and pets. My family and I enjoy hiking, going to the movies, and exploring new places (especially historic sites & National Parks).
