Hi, Lincoln Families!

My name is Ava Dearing and I am thrilled to be your child's 1st Grade teacher this year! I am a two-time alumna from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW) -- Go Seahawks! I have my Bachelor's Degree in Spanish K-12 and my Masters of Art in Teaching in Elementary Education. 

Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my family and friends, traveling, baking, NASCAR racing, writing, and being creative. I have a four-year old West Highland White Terrier, Truman!
