My name is Kelly Thatcher. I was born and raised here at the beautiful beaches of Brunswick County. Although I was raised a beach girl, I love a vacation to the mountains!! In my quiet time, I enjoy reading a good book or working jigsaw puzzles. My favorite holiday is Easter and my favorite place in the world is Disney!

I am a graduate of UNCW with a Bachelor's in Art, majoring in Middle Grades Education with a minor in English. Before I received my degree in Middle Grades Education, I worked in the EC department of a local elementary school here in Brunswick County for 5 years. I am so excited about starting the new year as your child's ELA teacher! I am available for any questions or to discuss your child's performance in my class.
