A little bit about me!
I am a proud alumnus of UNCW having earned a Bachelor's degree in marine biology and I am also a graduate of Louisiana State University where I earned my Master of Science degree in Zoology and Physiology specializing in ichthyology (the study of fish). My Master's thesis led me to specialize in studying fish from the Amazon rainforest and so after graduation, I lived and worked in the Amazon rainforest for a number of years as an Environmental Consultant and Naturalist Guide.

While living and working in the Amazon I started my family and after a move to Denver, Colorado, began my teaching career. I have been teaching for 23 years now but this is my first year here at North Brunswick High School! I have 3 children ranging in age from 24 to 19 and as a family we love to travel and have adventures! We love outdoor adventures, camping, exploring nature and the world around us.
