My name is Natalie Bowman and this is my first year teaching at SBMS! My family and I are also new to Brunswick County.  My daughter, Izzy, is in 9th grade and my son, Paul, is is in 5th grade. We also have a dog pit/lab mix named Scout. (She is named after the little girl in To Kill a Mocking Bird.) English and History are two subjects I am very passionate about, and luckily we will be incorporating some history throughout the stories we read in ELA this year. I am excited to get to know my students and teach them to look at reading in a whole new way!
