Course Objectives:
Spanish I:
Spanish II: The goal of Spanish two is to build on the basic concepts from Spanish 1, that focus on the present, and a first-person perspective, to include talking about all subjects in a variety of contexts. Primarily, we focus on past tense structures that help us relay events and descriptions in the past. We also expand our vocabulary to the next most-desired use for the language, travel, food, and health topics.
Spanish III: The goal of Spanish three is to synthesize the information leaned in levels 1 and 2 to develop better reading, writing, and speaking skills. By the end of the course, you will be able to give descriptions of events in the past, present, and future. We will structure these skills using a variety of vocabulary and grammar topics that will be a challenge, even to native-speakers of the language.
Note for all levels: The end goal of being fluent in a new language can take years, if not decades. Continuous practice and work are far more important than perceived talent for the language.
