Hello BCECHS Families,

My name is Meghan Wilson, and I am so excited to join the BCECHS community this year!

As I step into my 19th year in education, I bring a deep passion for teaching and a diverse background in supporting students. I earned my undergraduate degree from Western Carolina University and hold master’s degrees from both UNC Charlotte and Gardner-Webb University. I spent my first 7 years in education teaching high school social studies before moving into school administration, where I served as an assistant principal across all K–12 grade levels for nearly a decade. In January of 2026, I made the intentional decision to return to the classroom—a move that allows me to get back to what I love most: working directly with students while spending more quality time with my family.

On a personal note, my husband, Chad, and I have an energetic 5-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old Bernadoodle. When I’m not at school, you’ll likely find us at the beach, on the golf course, or watching college basketball! I also love baking, cooking, settling in with a good book, and staying well-fueled with great coffee!

I am truly honored to partner with you in your student’s education this year. My goal is to foster an environment where they feel supported, challenged, and empowered to grow into their best selves.
